La zona de Los Santos es de una belleza natural impresionante y, sin embargo, el turismo apenas está empezando a desarrollarse. El proyecto Cultura Verde quiere ser dinamizador de un turismo sostenible y responsable. Un turismo que respete y valore la forma de ser de las comunidades de Los Santos, aprendiendo de sus costumbres, comidas,  expresiones culturales y actividades de desarrollo, pero también que le aporte a la comunidad nuevas experiencias, estímulos y conocimientos.

Por esto, nuestras actividades turísticas, claro está, incluyen el disfrute del ambiente natural y de la buena comida, pero además tienen siempre un componente de aprendizaje sobre temas que tienen que ver con nuestra visión de vida, como salud integral, arte, ecología o gastronomía saludable, así como un espacio de intercambio cultural entre lo rural y lo urbano.



Motivamos siempre la participación activa de personas de la comunidad, no como meros oferentes de servicios (como suele suceder en la mayoría de las iniciativas de ecoturismo que se llevan a cabo en nuestro país), sino como personas que aportan culturalmente y, a la vez, participan como todos los demás el en aprendizaje conjunto que se da en la actividad.



Por último, un aporte muy importante que hacen las personas que participan en nuestros eventos de ecoturismo responsable es brindar sostenibilidad financiera a nuestros proyectos de capacitación y acompañamiento a las comunidades vecinas, ya que de los ingresos que se obtienen por estas actividades, el 100% de las ganancias irán a un fondo para financiar estos proyectos. Responsbile Ecotourism



The Los Santos region is impressive with its natural beauty, but tourism is just beginning to develop. The Cultura Verde project has been started to lead the development of a sustainable and responsible way of tourism for the region. A tourism that respects and values the culture of the communities of Los Santos, learning about their customs, food, cultural expressions and development activities, but also that allows tourists to bring new experiences, encouragement and knowledge to our community. For this reason, our tourist activities naturally include the enjoyment of the environment and our wonderful local cuisine but also always include a component of learning about our vision of life, holistic health, art, ecology or healthy cuisine, as well as a place for cultural exchange between both rural and urban, and local and international communities.



We always encourage the active participation of people in the community, not merely as providers of services (as is often the case in most ecotourism initiatives that are carried out in Costa Rica), but as people who contribute culturally, actively taking part in our activities.



Finally, a very important contribution made by the people who participate in our responsible ecotourism activities is to provide financial sustainability to our training projects and to the neighboring communities. 100% of the profits go to a fund to finance these projects.
